3D-Printed Sculptures Built on 'Surfy Beach' in Yangyang county

On May 9, 2023, the construction and installation of sculptures for the 'Smart Tourism City Creation Project' with Yangyang county was successfully completed.

The sculptures are modeled after shape of the surfboard's pin, the part that controls the board while the surfer resists against waves. It took three hours to print one sculpture, and two days to complete a total of four sculptures.

These sculptures are symbolic works of art created and installed using a 3D printer instead of the traditional construction method. Each of the four sculptures are installed in Surfy Beach, Gisamun Beach, Jukdo Beach, and Namae 3-ri Beach respectively.
